How to import from other applications?
Open the Microsoft Access application by double-clicking the desired shortcut icon on your desktop screen.
Press F11 key on your keyboard to launch the database window.
Now tag along the Table tab to view the list of tables.
Now determine the table that you wish to work with from the displayed list, and then access the Open button.
Now launch the program that contains the document you wish to import.
Before transferring the data, make sure that the data format is compatible with the Microsoft Access. Besides this, make sure that the order of fields in the database table matches with the columns in the document that you wish to bring in.
Now determine the number of rows in the document that you want to import. When done, access the Copy option from drop down Edit menu.
For replacing the contents, click on the Records To Be Replaced tab, followed by clicking the Paste option from the drop down edit menu.
If you want to paste the copied records at the bottom of the sheet, then you have to choose the Paste Append option from the drop-down Edit menu. Now the entire record will appear at the end of the data sheet.

How to Import data from a Text File or Spreadsheet?
Open the Microsoft Access application, and press the F11 key on your keyboard to open the Database window.
Tag along the File menu, and choose Get External Data option; then click Import.
Now go back to File menu and choose the Import option. This opens an Import window. After this, follow the onscreen commands strictly to complete the importing procedure. When prompted, choose the table that you wish to import the new data.
Once the entire procedure is finished, click Close to exit out the Import Wizard.
