The email client application, Microsoft Outlook, comes pre-installed with various versions of Windows operating systems. Since it is a product from the Microsoft, no need to think twice about the quality and performance of the program. Although Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express share similar architectural values, the database code for the two programs is entirely different.
When you create an email account in the Outlook Express, you are provided with an option to save your account’s password within the application memory. Therefore you need not have to type the email address and password  each time of login to  Outlook Express. No doubt, it’s a remarkable feature, if you are a regular Outlook Express user. But, if you are planning to sell your system or switch to a new System, you have to remove the stored password within the Outlook Express, otherwise the person who is buying your system might gain access to your email account. So to avoid such problems it’s better to extract your Outlook Express password.
Go through the below instructions from the Outlook Express help panel for extracting your Outlook Express passwords.

Then you need to trigger the extract button seen in the right pane of the window.
